Youth Mission Work

Why do mission work?

Mission work is an awesome opportunity for youth to serve others, learn about themselves, and grow their faith and relationship with Christ. But more than that, Jesus commands us to serve. We read in Matthew:  'The King will reply, 'I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.' Jesus commanded us to take care of those in need. The least of these is anyone in need. Hungry. Poor. Lonely. Abandoned. Less Fortunate. In need of faith.

Mission work also helps us to see how we can change the world, even in a small way. While preparing a meal for someone,  making a blanket, or ringing a bell may seem like such a small thing, to the people we help, it means everything. In a world in need of love, service and help, it's the small things that make a difference.

Our youth our committed to mission work - both at home and abroad. We are committed to giving them  opportunities! We offer Junior High and Senior High mission trips, as well as events during the year.
